I mean why not have SBF spend the duration of the trial in, idk, the Four Seasons Tribeca, with an official escort to and from the courthouse, a guard posted outside the hotel room door and a strictly enforced ban on any personal electronics entering the hotel room? Shorter commute that way (if he can afford it), and he can stay late at the courthouse to meet with his lawyers all he wants.
(There’s a motel in Chinatown that’s slightly closer to the courthouse, but I imagine SBF would prefer the Four Seasons Tribeca… if he can afford it.)
You are on a roll! Love the crossed-out “babysitter” and also the reporting on SBF rejected witnesses. I was around for Enron, and am chuckling at the thought of Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling calling an expert witness on their behalf to say, in effect, nothing to see here, easily foreseeable. I keep thinking of all the poor suckers—especially the less affluent ones—who lost money because of SBF.
Issue 40 – Extorted for my lambo
I read your Disclosures, because I am interested in media integrity. I like very much what I read. Thank you.
