The CFTC Binance complaint was worth just it for the candid texting. The Money Laundering Compliance Officer was a special treat - clearly she was “aware of all internet traditions”

Just great you set the story straight on the reasons for the bitcoin price hike and the NYT followed suit!

That's just great, I come here to learn about crypto failures and instead I learn I've been misspelling 'supersede' my entire life. Unsubscribed!

The line “rendering the DAO useless” nearly felt redundant…I’ve yet to see a DAO rendered terribly useful! Have you seen the new Folding Ideas YouTube video about the Decentraland Metaverse? Their DAO is decidedly useless. The california lawsuit against bZX DAO last week (I may have the name and timing slightly off) exposed not only how legally useless DAOs are but also how they expose token holders to unnecessary liability risk. Then of course the SushiDAO SEC subpoena or lawsuit (I forgot which it was) but again demonstrates how DAOs don’t even function as a regulatory shield - though I guess the OokiDAO v. CFTC lawsuit from a few months ago did just the same. DAOs must be the worst idea in crypto; I can’t think of one with more downside potential.

Thanks for once again enlightening a non-expert—now I understand “decentralization.” Surprise, surprise—another scam. Also, John Reed Stark on the SEC vs. Coinbase was eye-opening. It amazes me how the crypto whiz kids still don’t get it—they are operating in the real world, not their dreamland.

Always enlightening! This time the best thing I learned about was “I had cheeseburger“, which I’m actually too OLD to have known about.

I can't help but notice that the cheezburger MLRO wasn't charged. It'd be funny if she was the one who shared everything with the CFTC.
